EDWARD DE BONO'S MESSAGE

"I intend to write a new message every week. These will not be accumulated so you are invited to visit each week - if the matter of creativity is of interest to you.

It is my intention, and hope, to put together the most powerful force in the history of the world. That is the purpose of the Edward de Bono Creative Team^TM. Through the Internet it should be possible to assemble a team of up to 5 million creative thinkers around the world. This would indeed be a powerful creative force. This force would be brought to bear on social problems and also commercial problems. For commercial problems the Creative Team would simply act as an organising network to bring together someone with a commercial need and whoever has a creative idea to satisfy that need. Payment for the successful idea would go straight to the originator of that idea.

I wish to enrol in the Edward de Bono Creative Team^TM people who are seriously creative. I am not interested in the flim-flam dabblers who always think they are much more creative than they really are. That is why I wrote the book SERIOUS CREATIVITY to distinguish this type of creativity from off the wall messing-around which too often passes for creativity. That is also why there is a subscription to the Team. This is meant to discourage those who are mere dabblers and not seriously motivated. The subscription is also needed both for the infrastructure of the Team and also to publicise the Team and make its services known.
